1. Introduction

Welcome to Randomly.online. Your privacy is very important to us.

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use any of our tools or services β€” including our image tools, random generators, calculators, utilities and other available tools.

By using this website, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

For the tools themselves, we do not collect, store, or share personal data such as your name, email, or location.

There are two exceptions, and both are things you actively choose to do: sending us a message through the Contact Us form (section 12), and racing someone on the Typing Speed Test (section 6). Everything else on this site is covered by the paragraph below.

Most of our tools, including converters and calculators, run entirely within your browser (client-side).

That means your data, files, and calculations never leave your device or get uploaded to our servers.

3. Information We May Collect

For analytics and performance improvements, we may collect non-personal usage data, such as:

  • Browser type and version
  • Device type (desktop or mobile)
  • Approximate location (city or country)
  • Pages visited, time spent, and referring links

This data helps us understand traffic patterns and improve user experience. It does not include any personal or file content.

4. Cookies and Third-Party Services

Our site uses limited cookies, local storage, or similar technologies to:

  • Remember your dark mode preference (stored in your browser, never sent to us)
  • Measure site performance and usage statistics through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics

You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time. The tools continue to work with cookies disabled.

We do not currently display advertising and we do not set advertising cookies. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated before any ad code is added to the site.

Content delivery networks. Some tool pages load code libraries from third-party CDNs such as cdnjs, unpkg, and jsDelivr. Your browser has to contact those services to fetch the file, which means they can see your IP address and which page requested it. They never receive your files, because your files are never sent anywhere. We are progressively moving these libraries onto our own domain to remove even that contact; the newest tools already serve everything from randomly.online.

5. File Handling and Processing

Tools like image converters, compressors, or PDF utilities are fully client-side.

Your files are processed directly in your browser using JavaScript and are never uploaded to our servers or stored online.

Once you close the page, all processed data is automatically cleared.

6. Multiplayer Typing Races

The Typing Speed Test can be raced against other people. Doing so is the only feature on this site that opens a network connection on your behalf, and it is entirely optional — the solo test works without one.

A race is peer-to-peer over WebRTC: your browser talks directly to the other player's browser, and your typing never passes through us. Setting that connection up requires a signalling broker, for which we use the public PeerJS service. As with any WebRTC connection, the people you are racing and the broker can see your IP address. That is inherent to how direct browser-to-browser connections work, not something specific to this site.

No account is needed, we store nothing about your races, and nothing you type is sent to us. If you would rather not open any connection at all, use the solo test and do not join or create a room.

7. Third-Party Links

Our website may include links to other websites or services.

We are not responsible for their privacy practices or content.

We recommend reviewing their policies before interacting with those sites.

8. Children’s Privacy

Randomly.online does not knowingly collect or store any information from children under 13 years of age.

If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us and we will remove it immediately.

9. Data Security

We use HTTPS encryption throughout the site and follow modern web security practices.

Because the tools hold no files and no accounts, there is nothing about your documents for anyone to breach. The one thing we retain is the correspondence you send us through the contact form, handled by the provider named in section 12 under its own security practices.

We still advise avoiding public websites, ours included, for anything you would not want to lose control of.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your region, you may have the right to:

  • Request deletion of your browsing data (via browser settings)
  • Manage cookie preferences
  • Opt out of personalized ads

There is generally nothing to request, because nothing about you is stored. Where we do hold something — contact-form correspondence — you may ask us to show you what we have or to delete it. Write to official@randomly.online and we will respond within 30 days.

11. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect new features or compliance requirements.

The latest version will always be available at https://randomly.online/privacy-policy.

By continuing to use our website, you accept any revised terms.

12. Contact Form Submissions

Our Contact Us page is the one place on this site where you deliberately send us information. Everything else described above stays on your device; a message you choose to write does not.

When you submit that form we receive the name, email address, topic and message you typed. We use them only to answer you. They are never added to a mailing list, sold, or used for advertising.

Delivery is handled by Web3Forms, a third-party form service that passes the submission to our inbox. Your message transits their systems on the way to us and is subject to their privacy policy as well as this one.

The form does not accept file attachments, and this is deliberate: our tools never receive your documents, so accepting uploads here would contradict how the rest of the site works.

We keep correspondence for as long as it takes to resolve your query and for a reasonable period afterwards for our own records. Write to us at the address below if you would like your message deleted sooner.
